Are you a Christian in Europe who is in touch with Iranian or Afghan refugees? Would you like to be able to offer them valuable content and personal contact in their mother tongue? 

The SUNDAY app in Farsi reaches out to Iranian and Afghan refugees and migrants who are relatively new in the country of arrival or are interested in knowing more about life in Europe, the Bible and Christianity. This app is part of the SUNDAY project, which offers separate apps in different languages. Right now, the Farsi app is the first one. In the SUNDAY app, refugees and migrants find information about society and culture in the European country where they are. What is more, they can discover answers to religious questions they may be struggling with and find out more about the Christian faith and what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

What is in the app?

Besides audio and video, there are texts and links. Over the years, a great deal of this material has been developed by organizations with extensive experience in reaching out to Iranians and Afghans. All is done in a way that is respectful towards other faiths and beliefs. There are links to basic discipleship materials and app users can ask their own questions and get in touch with a network of Farsi speaking believers – in their own native language and in the country where they now live, with a focus on the Nordic countries and the Netherlands.
